1. Yesterday marked one month! We have not strangled each other yet!
2. Drew left for basic training yesterday as well. He joined the Air National Guard. Keep him in your prayers.
3. French Movies don't suck all that much, who would have thunk it?
So over the last few years I have seen a few French movies and they never seem to surprise me. Amelie and A very Long Engagement were pretty good, but of course dramas. Then I saw High Tension, my first French horror film. It was kinda iffy, but interesting (also introduced me to Muse, that was worth the who thing). So two movies that I love that I didn't even know had any French ties, the 5th Element and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless mind, led me to last two movies that I have seen. First, the Science of Sleep, was pretty darn strange and hard to follow just like Eternal Sunshine, but so so amazing. Second, B13, which was done by the same person that did the 5th Element. It has to be the strangest combination was my latest film adventure. It was a Kung-Fu, Sci Fi, Apocalyptic, ... French movie..... I highly recommend it.
